Water and oil-repellent, soiling and graffiti protection for concrete

ProtectGuard® SC is the leading product for all-round protection for all concretes.

ProtectGuard® SC provides long-lasting protection and prevents the main causes of damage like atmospheric pollution, grease marks, ingress, chewing gum, graffiti, etc. It slows down the ageing of the concrete and makes it easier to maintain.

ProtectGuard® SC is a permanent, non-film forming impregnation product, the material remains permeable to air and water vapour.

ProtectGuard® SC is completely colourless after application, it does not change the appearance or the nature of the treated material. It is also is fully UV ray resistant and does not yellow over time.

Surface preparation :

  • 1
    Apply the product to a clean, dust-free, grease-free and dry surface.
  • 2
    To remove traces of efflorescence, laitance or grout film, use Guard Cleaner® Surface Preparation.
  • 3
    To remove grease stains, use Guard Cleaner® Maintenance.
  • 4
    Rinse carefully until the surface is free of any trace of cleaner.

Application :

  • Use the product in its pure form: do not dilute it.
  • Shake the packaging well before use and carry out a preliminary test.
  • The concrete must be impregnated up to saturation in a single coat or two coats”wet on wet”.
  • Do not overload the material, remove any excess before drying.
  • On vertical materials, apply from bottom to top
  • Protected drying: 24 hours.
  • Optimal efficiency reached after 7 days.
